engagement cost

i know i know, talking about cost never my favorite to talk about as im not a good financial planner, normally i will keep record all the expenses and owwwhh.. these how much ive spent..then nothing,take no lesson from the spending habit. so, what the purpose of keeping record of all these. nothing.


hehhe, but thats not the point.i will try my best to plan my expenses next time. yeah thats the promise.

so. as i wrote earlier 26 mean something right? guess what, nov 26th is my engagement day. that mean im officially may to other, oh let me introduce u my my fiance. (not bf, acquitance, fren, etc) . sounds great huh? cam poyo lak kdg2 rasa.huhu

before i get to the pictures(as what everybody loves, the pictures only, never the writing, same goes to me, haha. that make us no different than kids huh? ) i would write down all the expenses was occurred during my engagement day. of course there was sponsored gift etc, it will be stated also.


p/s: there unnecessary expenses but just jot it down in order as lesson for me.huu...

1.decoration for hantaran including
-bought at fah lean and Woon for artificial flowers, ribbon, polystyrene, hand bouquet RM82
-ribbon RM3
-glitter powder to to enhance the artificial flowers RM1
-pink cloth as lapik dulang hantaran RM14
-silver crepe paper to cover the polystyrene RM6
-purplish pink wrapping paper (originally want to wrap the chocolates but never use it) RM6
-polystyrene as lapik dulang RM6
-black sateen as polystyrene wrapping RM7
-glass bowl from Hinode RM5

2.decoration for simple bride bed
-artificial flowers from Apollo RM25
-white sateen RM7.50
-light maroon sateen RM21 (quite expensive as this color is hard to find)
-stage flower decoration RM35 (sponsored by my mom)

3. seven pieces of bunga rampai container (as part of hantaran) RM17.50

4.fresh flower (used in sirih junjung decoration) RM40

5.engagement outfits
-4 meters of peach sateen as lining RM28
-2.75 meters of maroon lace RM40
-2 meters of pink and white lace as veil RM56
-cost of baju, veil, tudung RM90 (wow murahnyeeeeeee..yeaaa)

6.make up preparation/on e-day
-make up brush RM1.90
-foundation RM60
-kabuki brush RM20
-fake eyelashes RM3
(all above incurred as i originally want to do the make up by myself but at the end g kedai gak)
-kat kedai include testing 2 days earlier RM100

7.feast/food
-chocolate handmade my lovely aunt cik ilah-sponsored
-fondant cake -sponsored by my cousin paija
-cupcakes - RM48
-engagement cake - sponsored by mak usu
-feast ( as this day also the day of aqiqah feast of ashraf, so might part of it sponsored by asyraf's dad that my bro and part of it my parent. tah never asked.)

so..thats it.all cost amont to RM645.50. actually i can save a little upon flowers, never used wraping paper,make up tak jadi, veil, make up testing which up to RM179 so that my cost would only become RM464.50.huhuhu
